Come enjoy "home away from home."
- Beth Iverson, Proprietor
- Indigo Blu, Humble BnB Mascot
Humble BnB (Bed & Breakfast) was established in 2016 by Beth Iverson, along with her late husband Jeff Iverson. Having moved to Lake Geneva from IL to realize a lifelong dream of owning and operating a Bed & Breakfast. They felt that Lake Geneva had so much to offer its’ visitors. Having spent the majority of their careers in customer service in both retail, restaurant and lodging industries, they have a great understanding for what guests need and want and go above and beyond to provide the best experience without being intrusive.
Indigo Blu, the newest staff member, is a 62 lb. Blue Merle Aussie with 1 golden brown and 1 sky blue eye. Sweet and loyal, this boy loves to cuddle. He can be shy at first, but once he warms up, you'll have a best friend for life. While still new to the the Bed and Breakfast life, he is starting to show more energy, personality and playfulness. Adopted in March of 2021, at approximately 5 years old. He was found abandoned on an empty property in Tennessee and was rescued by an aussie rescue, here in Wisconsin.
In loving memory…
- Jeff Iverson, Proprietor (1954-2021)
- Zeus, Humble BnB Mascot (2004-2020)
Jeff Iverson, after a tumultuous two week hospital stay for a ruptured mitro value in his heart, passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2021 due to health complications during surgery.
He was a family man through and through. While he could hold a warm and welcoming conversation with anyone who crossed his path, and did so as a matter of habit, his true joy was in being a Husband, Father and Grandfather (known lovingly as “Umpa”). He leaves a legacy of relationships and bonds that cannot be accurately described in words but can be felt by the community at large and all the lives he touched in his 66 years.
Zeus was adopted at 1.5 years old in 2005, Zeus took on the roll of mascot with pride. In August 2020, his body finally failed him in his old age and we said goodbye. He loved company, attention, taking naps, long walks and especially leftovers. We are truly so blessed for the time we were able to love on him. Thank you to everyone for all of your kindness… from all the mentions of him in your reviews that we can forever look back at fondly, to those who previously brought him treats and toys and to all those who reached out when you heard the news. He will be truly missed.
